Conveyor system for optimised material flow
Electrical design of a highly automated conveyor system in Bratislava – using our own product macros and a circuit diagram generator.
Challenge
A leading automotive supplier at its Bratislava site wanted to fundamentally renew a complex conveyor system in order to optimise material flow in a highly automated environment.
Our contribution
We worked with the customer across disciplines and designed the hydraulic drive systems and the pneumatics. The electrical design was carried out in EPLAN – supported by our product macros and a circuit diagram generator for fast, error-resistant documentation.
Result
Material throughput and cycle times improved significantly. As an integral part of the project team we were actively involved in this logistical redefinition. In doing so we identified potential for standardising further parts of the plant, which simplifies maintenance and later extensions.
